A collection of assorted 19th century & later Victorian Ironstone blue and white ceramics. The lot comprising three platters, one in Willow pattern, an Ironstone cake stand marked No. 52 to base, a George Jones and Sons Abbey fruit bowl, three Chinese ginger jars, two in prunus pattern, a Royal Copenhagen cream jug with lace edge, and various other assorted pottery. Some being transfer printed, some hand painted. Maker's marks including Spode Copeland, Mason Ironstone China, Georgian, etc. Approx. 20 pieces total. Largest platter to measure approx. 47cm x 35cm.
Aerospace / aeroplane interest - a vintage original circa 1950s British Overseas Airways Corporation tea service & menu. The tea service comprising six teacups, six saucers and 9 dessert plates, with Copeland Spode mark to underside. The menu with All Around the World BOAC Takes Good Care of You and illustration of Central Park to the front cover, with flights spanning Australia, Indian, Tel Aviv, Zurich and London.
