A 19TH CENTURY POTTERY COMMEMORATIVE PLATE, sepia transfer decoration, "Railway Jubilee Commemoration held at Darlington September 27th 1875", featuring an image of Joseph Pease, manufactured by J. Wardle Middlesbro on Tees, retailed by J.P. Clarkson tea dealer of Darlington, 22cm in diameter, together with A SPODE YORK MINSTER PLATE and a ROYAL CROWN DERBY IMARI PATTERN TEA PLATE (3)
A collection of antique ceramics to include a 19th Century Spode style cabinet plate having gilt and cream borders with a hand painted Broad - leaved Brachysema plant, a pair of German porcelain nodding figurines in the form of a husband and wife, an English hand painted geek antiquity style cylindrical vase, two porcelain transfer printed child's cups and saucers, a porcelain figurine of a boy modelled on top of a posy bouquet. 4.5cm x 10cm.
An extensive Spode Imari tea set, comprising of ten coffee cans, eight tea cups, eleven saucers, slop bowl, creamers and two saucer dishes, c1810, marked Spode 1495. (33) There is no apparent damage or restoration upon initial inspection with the exception of a single cup with riveted repair around the handle and other various but minor rubbing of the gilt.
THREE PIECES OF SPODE "GREEK" PATTERN BLUE TRANSFER-PRINTED WARES, EARLY 19TH CENTURY, comprising drainer, 32.5cm by 22.5cm, well and tree platter, 52cm by 42.5cm; and ashet, 46cm by 36cm. (30Drainer with a glazing flaw to the surface at 7 o'clock position. To the base rim are several abrasions/flea bites as one would expect.The well and tree platter has a large loss to one of the feet but it still sits steadily and does not rock. The other foot with two small chips. Some rubbing to the glaze at the edges.The ashet with a small glazing flaw but otherwise in good condition.
A quantity of early 19th Century Copeland Spode dinner ware of floral design with Royal Blue border and red rim. Comprising: 2 Octagonal shaped meat plates, 4 dinner plates, 4 soup bowls, 2 side plates, a dessert plate and a lidded sauce tureen complete with saucer and gold pine cone finial and handles.
