Of classical design, pale wood, mother of pearl and hardwood chevron border, label to interior inscribed "Imported and sold by J Chappell Music Seller to his Majesty, 50 New Bond Street London" rosewood back, engraved brass detail to the neck and inscribed Chappell 50 New Bond Street, contained in a velvet lined stained wood fitted case of the period 43cm length of back . Chappell of Bond Street, have been at the same premises for 195 years and are only now relocating to Wardour Street.
