Diamond Head Newsletters 1, 2, and 3, three band posters and merchandise materials. Inspired by his older brother David to learn the guitar at 14, Brian Tatler eventually recruited school friends Duncan Scott, Sean Harris and Colin Kimberly to form Diamond Head in 1976. At the age of just nineteen they became part of the New Wave of British Heavy Metal, gigging and performing their own material across the country. In 1980 they opened for AC/DC and Iron Maiden whilst recording and releasing their debut album Lightning To The Nations aka ‘The White Album’ on an independent label. This masterpiece is now a heavy metal classic, revered by bands such as Metallica and Megadeth who cite Diamond Head as one of their greatest influence. Condition Report:Available upon request
GIBSON a Gibson J160E electro acoustic guitar in dark sunburst serial number 890922 circa 1969 with original fitted case The Gibson J-160E is one of the first acoustic-electric guitars produced by the Gibson Guitar Corporation. The J-160E was Gibson's second attempt at creating an acoustic-electric guitar. The basic concept behind the guitar was to fit a single-pickup into a normal-size dreadnought acoustic guitar. A rare Gibson Custom Shop custom order ES355, circa 1997/1998 with figured maple poplar maple laminate top, back and sides, translucent cherry finish with five-ply cream and black binding, mahogany neck with ebony fretboard, mother of pearl block markers, split diamond headstock inlay and mother of pearl Gibson decal, Grover tuners, gold plated hardware fitted with twin humbuckers and stop tailpiece, two output jack sockets for both mono and stereo, bound faux tortoiseshell pickguard, and black top hat knobs, 'Custom' branded truss rod cover, gilt Custom Shop logo to back of headstock, ink stamped serial number 79--88 to back of the headstock, and serial number B9--06 to orange interior label, fitted plush lined tan Gibson case, with original Gold Warranty paperwork. This Guitar was originally purchased on 5/4/98 at Mom's Music, Louisville Kentucky, and was one of two custom orders placed by a client, the two serial numbers date the guitar to the Nashville custom shop and 1997/1998.

A rare 1961 Golden Hofner Jazz guitar, serial number 59, with flamed and figured maple back and rims, spruce top, eleven ply flamed maple neck, with Grenedilla ebony fretboard, inlaid in mother of pearl, 'christmas tree' headstock, with mother of pearl HOFNER decal, multiple bound 18 inch body, fitted with two gilt 'Super' 511 twin coil pickups, later fitted Bigsby tremolo and aluminium adjustable bridge, period plush lined case. * Under 100 Golden Hofners were made between 1959 and 1962.
