It was used as the bass for all the musical activities at the Church club. At the time, it was missing the chrome tailpiece, chrome bridge cover and ebonite finger rest. These have all been replaced with original early Fender hardware sourced from Kevin Rhys Jones. The guitar was taken to Gordon Wells of Knight Guitars in 2007 where it was refinished in three-tone sunburst

Used on recordings for Decca, Phillips and Pye (recordings available on 'All the Good Times: The Country Strings 1994'). Played throughout the UK folk circuit in the 60s; as well as London, notable performances within Scotland, Blackpool, Taunton, Norwich and the Midlands.
