A CONTINENTAL WHITE METAL BOX in the form of a viola decorated with cherubs and a tavern interior scene, 12cm in length together with two silver plated miniature lutes and a white metal miniature guitar (4) These items are from the collection of the noted violinist Suzanne Rozsa-Lovett (1923-1995). Winner of the Kreisler Prize and the Gold Medal of the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. Mrs Rozsa-Lovett was a soloist, chamber and orchestral player, notably with the London Polish Quartet, The Dumka Trio and the English Chamber Orchestra. She was also a Professor at the Guildhall and wife of the cellist of the Amadeus Quartet, Martin Lovett.

1961 Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no, 71922, metallic red finish (refinish), refinish to back of the neck, later Fender tuners, re-fret, fretboard has been smoothed over, replacement nut, replaced scratchplate and screws, replaced strap buttons, internal electrics appear okay aside from a coil switch that has been added, however, access is limited due to short coil switch wire to check thoroughly, electrics in working order, original Selmer hard case with original purchase receipt and tags, condition: poor *Provenance: This single owner guitar is from the estate of a local collector. It was purchased by him in 1962 from Ken Watkinson Ltd. Cheltenham, the original receipt has been retained. The widow has stated that, before he passed away, the original finish was stripped back. After his passing, the widow had the guitar sprayed to its original colour. He was known for tinkering with his guitars, as they were very much working instruments, this is evident from the many parts that have been replaced over time

1965 Gibson ES-345TD Stereo Varitone hollow body electric guitar, made in USA, ser. no. 272455, sunburst finish with various imperfections including mild lacquer checking in places, the back of the guitar has previously had a Gretsch cushion screwed in and attached to the back (see lot 117) and also what appears to be adhesive residue, wear to frets, wear to fretboard, previous owner's initials applied to the bass horn on the front, wear to gold plated hardware, original Bigsby removed and stop bar fitted by the original retailer in 1965, attention required to bridge pickup, although electrics working in the neck position, original purchase receipts, guarantee card, hard case, condition: fair *Provenance: This guitar has had one single owner from new and comes with the original purchase receipt from Ken Watkinson Ltd., Cheltenham dated May 12 1965. The receipt indicates that the original Bigsby was removed for a solid low bridge to be fitted. There are also other receipts from Selmer for repairs carried out in 1968 and 1970. Also included is a tax inspection document dated 14 July 1966 for the part time income that the owner earned with his band 'The Ramrods'. This document has a section claiming Capital Allowances against the purchase of the guitar
