THE BEATLES - fantastic collection of 30 unseen and unpublished black and white negatives (6cm x 6cm) of The Beatles performing live on the 20th November 1963 at the ABC Cinema in Ardwick, Manchester. To include 24 shots of them performing on stage with 6 of the crowd going wild. These high quality images were taken from the front of the stage by North West photographer Derek Preston and include some excellent shots featuring all of the band, Paul & George, Ringo on drums and John playing guitar, singing and also play acting on stage. Derek was good friends with Harry Goodwin and used to accompany Harry when he was resident photograph at Top Of The Pops (when it was recorded in Manchester during the 60's). These images are being sold with copyright.

Condition is generally VG+ to Ex.

Titles are The Wailers - Tall Cool One / Road-Runner (45-HL 8958 - VG), The Who - Anyway Anyhow Anywhere (Brunswick 05935 - VG/Ex w/ WOL), The Strangeloves - Cara-Lin / Mississippi (Roll On) (Immediate IM 007 - Ex), The Blue Rondos - Little Baby scarce original Pye copy with a rumoured uncredited Jimmy Page on guitar - although some suggest it was actually Roger Hall (7N 15734 - VG+), Booker T And The M.G's - Jelly Bread (45-HLK 9670 - VG+) and Traffic - Feeling Alright? (WIP 6041 - VG+).
SOUL/BLUES/R & B - Lovely collection of 68 x original 7" singles, to include many obscure and hard to find titles. Sides to include Ray Agee And The Zeke Strong Band - Leave Me Alone (Celeste 615), Johnny "Guitar" Watson - Gangster Of Love (King 45-5774), Little Walter - My Babe (Checker 955), Sonny Boy Williamson - Bring It On Home (Chess CRS 8030) and Big Maybelle - Careless Love promo (London HL 9941). Also to include titles by the likes of Howlin' Wolf, Lavern Baker, The Drifters, B B King, Koko Taylor and Nina Simone. Condition of the records is generally VG+ to Ex.
THE JACKSONS - a Rally cherry red electric guitar (in the style of a Gibson ES 335) signed by four of The Jacksons to include Tito, Jermaine, Jackie and Marlon. Includes clear photographs of the guitar being signed when they were staying at a hotel in London during 2014. Also includes is a set list from The Jacksons Unity Tour of 2012 signed by Jackie.
DEEP PURPLE - Austin electric guitar (LES PAUL copy) signed by all five original band members to include Ritchie Blackmore, Roger Glover, Ian Gillan, Ian Paice and Jon Lord. Signatures were obtained in the early 90's. Some have faded slightly but still clearly visible. Authenticated by Roger Epperson for entry into this sale.
