THE WHO - collection of John Entwistle private music recordings spanning 14 Betamax tapes and recorded by John during the late 80's and early 90's. The tapes were purchased at an auction to sell the residual contents of his home estate ''Quarwood'' following his death in June 2002. Nine of the tapes have been converted to CD and they feature John and a friend Andy (on some) experimenting, jamming and laying down demos. Handwritten details by John on the tapes include the following ''B/track - Life After Love - Demo Film Score Master'', ''BASS & Echo experimentals & Final mix of film Incidental'', ''Guitar & Bass Ideas - Me + Andy'' x 2, ''The Guv's 1st'', ''Shep Demos 1 & 2'', ''Work Tape #1, #2 & #3'', ''M.Dc 1 Master Intermediate Demo 1'', ''Bass Ideas 1&2''. For a fan and Who archivist these tapes hold some fantastic and unique material from their founding member and legendary Bass player. Box also includes 5 blank Betamax tapes and 5 blank 8-track tapes.
