A ten course classical guitar, internal paper label inscribed `David Yelverton in Walton, Suffolk made me in the summer of `91 for Tim Macy` in a hard case, very beautiful and with superb sound, unfortunately it needs work from an instrument builder, the machine-heads need replacing or adaptation, because they have the bad habit of cutting into the extremely expensive strings, and the bridge needs re-attaching, there is a minor split in the back, which has been stable, the maker is a local builder of lutes, violins and guitars, the winner of a national gold prize for lute-building, who is too ill to repair it, once restored, it should look as new Very beautiful and with superb sound. Unfortunately it needs work from an instrument builder.
