INTERESTING COMPOSITE SIX STRING ELECTRIC GUITAR, THE VINTAGE NECK FROM THE GUITAR OWNED BY GUITARIST GEORGE BOROWSKI, front man to the band `Out`, who when supporting Dire Straits was approached by Mark Knopfler who enquired of the home made guitar and made an offer to buy - which was politely refused, a later hit song by Dire Straits `Sultans of Swing`, refers to George (Bowoski) by name, eventually the guitar became very worn and the neck was replaced by the current owner (a guitar repairer) who retained the old neck (as a gift) and applied it to the current Fender style body, previous players of the original guitar including Meat L`oaf, who was coached by George Borowski (a more detailed printed provenance available) the original neck 25 3/4" (65.4cm) long overall
