Eric Haydock - Hofner 500/3 bass guitar, circa 1960, ser. no. 667, brunette finish with some marks and blemishes, damage to underside of neck to body joint, pickup replaced to 1962 diamond type, replaced volume control pot (original retained), neck requires adjustment, electrics working but require attention, hard case, condition: fair *This guitar is supplied with a folder of associated documents regarding its history and provenance. The provenance states that this guitar was acquired by Eric Haydock while he was playing bass for The Deltas between 1960-62 and then later with The Hollies. The instrument was given to a female fan after a gig at Willem Hall in the spring of 1964. Other documents include a copy photograph of Eric Haydock with the guitar and various newspaper cuttings relating to the guitar`s history
