London.- Wyld (James) Plan of the Districts Drained by Water Courses Discharging into the River Thames, between the City of London and the Parish of Fulham..., large engraved wall map, extending from Hampstead Heath in the north to Lincoln's Inn Fields in the east, Chelsea in the south, and Shepherd's Bush Green in the west, showing "Open Watercourses", "Main Sewers", "Boundaries of the the District drained by these Sewers", and "Boundaries of Parishes", 1270 x 980 mm (50 x 38 1/2 in), mounted on linen, varnished, wooden rollers to upper and lower edges, handling creases and surface dirt, some losses, nicks and tears, rolled, 1834.⁂ Scarce. We can trace just one later issue ("With Corrections to 1840 and 1844") at the London Metropolitan Archives.

A FRENCH PORCELAIN CASTOR, later 19th century, of baluster form with screw-off cover, painted in polychrome enamels with a cartouche of flowers on an apple green ground, pseudo Sevres mark, 4 3/4" high, together with a similar tea canister and cover of shaped oval form painted with exotic birds within gilded columns, pseudo Chelsea gold anchor, 4 1/2" high (2) (Est. plus 21% premium inc. A Chelsea porcelain pierced oval basket, circa 1757-1760, the interior decorated in polychrome enamels with fruit and butterflies, the reticulated sides applied with flower heads to the exterior and further flower heads below the loop handles, brown painted anchor mark, 28.5cm wide (at fault) CONDITION REPORT:The piece shows pinned repairs and restoration to one of the handles, small losses to some of the flower petals, and the odd small firing crack.
