Manchester United Must View Football Programmes: Interesting folder of home programmes not one of them run of the mill. Includes last matches from winning seasons and first matches the season after which are often pictured with cups. There are semi finals, harder to obtain programmes 62/63 Chelsea FAC, Orient, First and last from 74/75, last match v Tottenham 98/99 and first programme season after. Spotted the famous Denis Law Man City match and much more. Excellent. (32)
West Ham 1964 Fully Signed Football Programme: The night before the FA Cup Final the squad went to watch England v Young England at Chelsea. 13 players have signed the programme all in pencil except for Bobby Moore who has signed in biro. We believe that sometime in the last 51 years the owner has gone over Jim Standen in pen as he originally signed in pencil. The other 11 include Hurst Brown Brabrook Bond Byrne Sissons Bovington Burkett and Boyce. Nice genuine item.

A Pair of Samson Porcelain Figural Candlesticks finely modelled in the form of a lady and gentleman dressed in elaborately decorated 18th century attire and sat by a tree encrusted with flowers. The lady holding an empty birdcage with a sheep reclining at her feet, the gentleman with a bird perched on his knee and dog sat before him. The scrolling bases issuing a foliated candle cup and having a Chelsea style gold anchor mark to the back, 10 ins (25 cms) in height.
Gerard Mansell CBE, British 1921-2010- Still life with apple and wooden spoon; oil on canvas, signed with initials and dated 98, 40.6x55.8cm, (may be subject to Droit de Suite) Note: Gerard Mansell was born in Paris and educated in France before moving to London in the 1930s to study at the Chelsea School of Art. In 1951 he entered the BBC and went on to become its deputy director-general. Mansell was responsible for the launch of Radio 4 in 1967 and one of the most influential figures in the shaping of the modern radio network.
