The trunk with reeded canted corners raised on shaped bracket feet., 230 cm high.

A fine George I bracket clock, the red lacquer chinoiserie case with gilded C scrolls and acanthus and three finials to the top, having a pierced brass arch frieze and turned pillars to the sides, enclosed by a brass mounted arch top door with similar door to the back and brass carrying handles and pierced brass panels to the sides, fitted an arch top brass dial, silvered chapter ring and four subsidiary dials to the arch (rise and fall, month, strike/silent and centre sweep arch calendar), the matted centre with pendulum aperture and three-train striking and chiming movement on seven bells by Peter Garon, London, also having an elaborately engraved back plate, 58.5cm (23") high
