An Unusual 18th Century Folk Art Painted Pine Hanging Wall Cupboard. The moulded cornice having a chip carved edge and domed central pediment carved with a grotesque face mask above an arch topped door bearing a naive relief-carved man holding a staff with traces of paint-work and the initials J.O.J.Q. below, 20 ins (51 cms) wide, 10 ins (26 cms) deep and 30 ins (76 cms) high.
A Fine Early 18th Century Welsh Bureau Bookcase. The upper section surmounted by a swan neck pediment with carved rosette terminals centred by a large acorn finial. The shaped arch-topped fielded panel doors opening to reveal star-burst marquetry to the inner sides, and adjustable shelves sliding into slide groove with pigeon holes to the top beneath a fretted canopy and four short drawers to the bottom. The fall front bureau with book-rest opening to reveal a fitted interior with recessed well, pigeon holes & stepped drawers concealing secret compartments. The front having three graduated drawers standing on bracket feet 80 ins (203 cms) high, 33 ins (84 cms) wide and 20½ ins (52 cms) deep.
An 18th Century Oak Longcase Clock, with an eight day movement. The 12 inch (30 cm) square brass face having a silvered chapter ring with hours & minute divisions, encircling a subsidiary seconds dial and a calendar aperture amidst sprays of engraved flowers and inscribed John Evans, LAMPETER (Circa 1750-60). The corners embellished with scrolling floriate gilt spandrels. The hood having a key design moulded frieze above a glazed door with shaped brass H-hinges & flanked by columns. The case with a double arch-topped long trunk door and canted sides enriched with stop-fluting. Measuring 84 ins (213.5 cms) in height.
A Late 16th Century & Later French Oak Dressoir. The top section having a moulded cornice above a carved frieze raised by fluted columns with scroll capitals. The fielded panel doors with face mask carvings, the central panel having a figure in a recessed arch, with two cushion front drawers below. The lower open section with carved cartouche back, foliate carved brackets and fluted columns rising from the deeply moulded base on squat bun feet. 45½ ins (116 cms) wide, 60 ¾ ins (154 cms) high, 19½ ins (49.5 cms).
A Fine 18th Century Chinoiserie Lacquered Longcase Clock. The eight day movement having a 12 inch (30.5 cm) brass dial with a silvered chapter ring encircling a silvered centre signed John Clark, Bury (Bury St Edmonds, circa 1770) and incorporating a subsidiary seconds dial, a calendar aperture and finely engraved foliate embellishments. The arch having a silvered Strike/Silent dial flanked by pierced gilt mounts, with spandrels adorning the corners. The hood having a pagoda pediment painted with floral sprays, and surmounted by three gilt spired-ball finials. The arched cornice above two decorative columns flanking the glazed door. The impressive long arched top trunk door edged in moulding and intricately decorated with a chinoiserie figural scene; continued on the base, and highlighted in gilding. 101 ins (257 cms) high, 19 ins (48 cms) wide, 9¼ ins (23.5 cms) deep.
A James I Oak Wainscot Chair having a shaped cresting rail of carved leafy scrolls with lobe terminals above scrolling spandrel 'ear-pieces'. The single back panel gouge-carved with an arch framing stylised foliage & ball flower motifs with a nulled base rail and edge-moulded seat. The down-swept arms on turned posts; the similarly turned legs with square feet united by peripheral stretchers.

The single handed 11 inch (28 cm) square brass dial inscribed W.Hough, Wrexham along the chapter ring encircling a matted centre engraved with scrolling foliate sprays surrounding a calendar aperture & having decorative brass spandrels to the corners. The thirty hour movement striking the hour on a bell. The hood carved with the initials M D K 1740, and having turned columns flanking the glazed door. The arch-topped slender trunk door edged in applied D-mouldings. Standing 75½ ins (192 cms) high, 17½ ins (44.5 cms) wide and 11½ ins (29 cms) deep.
