An interesting late 19th/early 20th Century painted and bronzed Swiss style Wall Clock, the broken arch pediment with pierced armorial crest above a 17cm painted dial with Roman numerals and central cottage style vignette and above a decorative bronzed piercing headed with a cherub mask, the movement striking on a bell and probably with alarm mechanism, the chains with varying sized weights (condition commensurate with age, some scratching, some decorative panels away etc.,) approx. 72cm total height
A two train double fusee bracket clock movement and dial with no case. The break arch plate marked 'Handley and Moore'. The whole being typical of George III style in that the gilt and silver dial is mounted on a false plate, (The makers were apprenticed to Jno Thwaites in c1738 before setting up on their own), together with two smaller movements.

Sold with weights and a pendulum
A WELSH OAK CUPBOARD, CWPWRDD TRIDARN, CAERNARFONSHIRE the canopied superstructure with slatted sides and baluster uprights above conforming channelled frieze and three ogee arch panelled doors, the central door carved 1753 AN DO, with bulbous pendants and spiral pilasters, the lower part with drawers and doors, 196cm h; 57 x 141cm, 1753 A very similar example, with the same distinctive carving to the centre door, dated 1756, with a Llanrug provenance, is illustrated Bebb (R), Welsh Furnitutre 1250-1950, Kidwelly 2007, vol 2, plt 829. ++Of pleasing colour and thought to be `right`, the beading around the top later, the handles old replacements

Barrow, the arched and moulded cresting with three squirrel finials, pierced brass frieze, pierced side panels, split turned columns to hood, the arched trunk door with shaped lentical glass, 79ins high Note : George Etherington recorded as admitted to the Clockmakers company 1684, Master 1709, Died 1729. Engraved brass plaque to inside of case provides full provenance - maker of case and an ancestor of vendor
6 Britains style Round Gazebos (small bandstands). All with ornamental Victorian wire design, coded 2701, various colours – 3 in white, 1 black, 1 dark green and 1 white/gold. Together with a ‘Proscenium Arch & Stage’ and an ‘Orchestra Pit’, both by John Eden Studios. Both well detailed and painted and cast in plaster. Plus a quantity of card stage backdrops. Mint as new.
