A pair of blue-green ground Japanese cloisonné vasesMeiji period, of slender six-sided form with elongated necks, the bodies decorated in three gauge silver wire with a garden scene of two pigeons in a maple tree with a fence, a Japanese lantern, chrysanthemums, irises and mixed flowers on a flared foot with a polychrome lancet band, matching the neck band with further decoration, each reverse with two stems of white flowers, 12¼in. (31cm.) high.CONDITION REPORT: In good condition, with no damage or restoration noted. Expected very minor and sparse pin-pricks of unfilled enamel to surface from the making - see images which are available by request. See Illustration.

The newel lamp with glazed lantern shade having a peaked pediment pierced with vents and surmounted by a ball finial, raised on a central rod surrounded by four scrolled straps 30 ins (76 cms) in height.
