A FRENCH ORMOLU 'VERSAILLES' HALL LANTERN LATE 19TH CENTURY with an open crown surmount decorated with fleur-de-lis and issuing a chain, the octagonal faceted body with bevelled glass panels and a hinged door, applied with shells and flowerheads, with a single light fitting, the base with bearded male masks and a probably later cone pendant 77.5cm high Provenance By repute, this was originally in Chelmsford Cathedral.

Many slides are individually labelled. One further cardboard boxes is labelled History and Typographical, whilst one more cardboard box contains primarily art and nature. All slides measure circa 8cm x 8cm.
