A Large Late 18th/Early 19th Century Dutch Brass Lantern. The cylindrical body with glazed sides in a studded strap frame, standing on three ball feet. The domed top pierced with ventilation holes, embossed with fruit & flowers, and surmounted by a ball finial with hanging ring, 29 ins (74 cms) high, 14½ ins (37 cms) in diameter.
A 17th Century style brass lantern clock, with silvered roman chapter ring, matted centre with nameplate signed 'Edward Johnson, London', cherub spandrels, two train movement, stamped W & H (Winterhalder & Hofmeier), striking on two bells, the case with rear door and two side doors, each with sunburst motif, pierced brass fretwork frieze and fluted pattern acorn feet, 15 1/4in. high.

A late 17th/early 18th Century brass "Lantern" clock by Samuel Barrow, Hermitage Bridge, London, the 6.5ins diameter silvered chapter ring with Roman numerals and single hand, the dial centre engraved with leaf scroll ornament and with central alarum dial to the steel and brass framed movement with outside locking plate and with verge escapement and bob pendulum, striking on a bell, contained in brass framed case, the turned uprights with turned urn pattern finials, pierced and engraved dolphin pattern frets and opening side doors, on turned feet, with steel loop and twin spikes to reverse, 15ins high, complete with brass cased drive weight and smaller brass cased alarm weight with counter balance Note : Samuel Barrow recorded London, Apprentice 1688, Clockmaker 1696-1704
