Castle, Oliver Messel: A Biography at Oliver Messel in his Terrace Dining Room at Maddox, Messel's Barbadian home.Condition Report: Some wear to the gilding of the metal and areas refreshed. The fittings to the reverse would suggest that once the panels were glazed and then adapted to have storm shades without glazed panels. The metal of the three sconces would suggest that these were matched up with the storm shades and the lower sections have been repaired and re-gilt. one section of the basal scroll-work has been broken off.
