Robert John Welch, Photographer (1859-1936) - a Collection of Nineteen Magic Lantern Slides of the West Coast of Ireland, showing the native people about their daily pursuits, cottages and hovels, some initialled WJDW for William James Dickson Walker Footnote - William James Dickson Walker (1854-1926) was a distinguished expert in the textile industry, and a member of the Congested Districts Board (CDB) in Northern Ireland, for which work he was awarded a CB. It is probable that these photographs were taken by Welch, but used by Walker in conjunction with his work for the CDB
