The Harry Bland Collection, Including Lots 524, 527, 533 and 550-583. Harry Bland was fascinated by projection since he got himself a job helping the projectionist at the local cinema as a teenager in the 1930s. In later years he built up a collection of magic lantern slides and projectors, researching them carefully and putting on his own entertaining shows. Harry was also a film maker right into his 80s, always with a keen observation of life around us with a great sense of humour.
