Mixed lot containing...incomplete mid 2nd to 3rd century Roman copper alloy circular plate brooch with some gilt remaining on the front.Diameter 37.1mm Incomplete 2nd to 3rd century oval plate brooch decorated with short radial lines broadening into a dot at its inner end. 38X18mm. Late 1st century plate brooch in the form of a fly. Spring, pin and small parts of the edge s of the head and flap of the catchplate are missing. The wings are swept back and the head has a ribbed appearance. L27mm, W18mm. Mid 1st to 4th century incomplete Roman copper alloy hair pin. Lower shank is missing with three ribs/grooves below the spherical head. L42mm. Head diameter 7mm. Mid 1st to early 2nd century incomplete decorated plate brooch.
