(8.5cm.) diameter; together with a similar trinket box by Wang Hing & Co., with similar decoration on a planished ground and gilt interior, 3¼in. (8.25cm.) diameter; a silver shoe horn by Zee Sung Silver, with bamboo decorated handle; and a silver plated brush with bamboo decoration. (4) * Condition: - Jewellery box: Good condition. Back leg slightly bent but still sits firmly. No other damage or restoration.- Trinket box: Good condition, with no damage or restoration. Engraved initials to roundel on cover.- Shoe horn: Good condition, with no damage or restoration.- Brush: Silver plated mount detached. Small chip to wooden insert.

A Chinese brass mounted hardwood table top jewellery cabinet, mid-20th century, brass scroll carrying handle on pierced shou emblem mount, brass moth engraved corner mounts, the two doors each inset with three reticulated serpentine roundels depicting birds and prunus blossom, conforming roundels to the sides, the interior with five drawers, 12½in. (31.5cm.) high; together with a similar brass bound hardwood jewellery box, the lid with centralised oval jade floral plaque, 7 x 5in. (17.8 x 12.2cm.). (2) * Condition: - Cabinet: Good condition, with no damage. Polish slightly faded throughout.- Box: Good condition.
Two Japanese shibayama and black lacquer jewellery boxes, 20th century, rectangular, the larger decorated with two finely attired females and a palm tree in mother of pearl and ivory, in a gilt painted garden, the smaller box similarly decorated, both fitted interiors in turquoise silk, the larger 12 x 8in. (30.5 x 20.3cm.), the smaller 8 x 6in. (20.3 x 15.3cm.). (2) * Condition: Shibayama has no losses. One of the lady's heads on the larger box has some rubbing on the ivory, and there are three small chips to the wood around the lock (only visible when opened). Some wear to gilt painting and a few minor flakes to lqceuer. Interiors good, but smaller has some foxing to silk.

T. Cannon Ltd, Sheffield 1973, 10.7toz, in silk and velvet lined presentation box, 15 by 15 by 12cm, and letter of provenance (in lieu of certificate) from the Director of A. T. Cannon Ltd, dated 2nd March 1981.
