An Iraqi niello type white metal jewellery box, the circular box and cover, decorated with river landscape views, palm trees and distant buildings, upon three scroll feet, 7.8cm diameter, weight 104gmsCR; Good order, no thinning, splitting, major denting or repair. Cover detaches and re-attaches with ease. Box sits flat on a level surface. Niello decoration is largely in tact. Scratching and wear throughout commensurate with age and use.
