An intricate gold and pearl necklace by H.G. Murphy, the textured and plain oval links suspend seven graduated gold discs, five set with natural saltwater half-pearls within stylised swirling leaf and spiral motifs and a twisted wirework border in yellow gold, each separated with a fancy twisted gold link set with a natural half-pearl, with maker's plaque HGM to reverse, 18ct and the Falcon studio plaque, 40cm long, in original fitted box Originally presented by her father as a gift to Angela Scott-Nicholson on her 21st birthday in 1931, and thence by descent to the current owner through four generations on each of their 18th birthdays. The cufflinks are in good condition and are in a separate box. The coin and commemorative cover are both in good condition.

The interior has been relined in red velvet.
