The handle of the tray has been knocked off and lost, further heavy wear. No interior present to the oak tabletop cabinet, no interior to the jewellery box. The writing slope lacking the writing surface and inkwells. Further general heavy wear throughout as stated will need attention and restoration. The rosewood box with loss and tarnishing to the white metal inlay.
An early 20th century Indian Vizagapatam rectangular jewellery casket raised on paw feet, length 20cm, and two 19th century transfer printed plates, various scenes including 'Band of Hope', diameter 15cm (3).Additional InformationEach of the plates are heavily crazed, one example with a large crack running through. The box with numerous areas of loss and breaks, lifting to the ivory. The faux tortoiseshell is faded in places.
