An early 19th Century mahogany writing box With a shaped baluster handle above two hinged fall fronts, lacking compartments, one with a pen tray, raised on a reel moulded plinth, 13x24x13cm and a Victorian inlaid mahogany jewellery box, the cover inlaid with a marquetry star, 11x30x22.5cm (2).
A Continental gilt metal oval basket With a rope work pierced rim embracing an oval depicting a Triumphal Arch with figures and embraced by eight roundels each depicting classical buildings, plain loop handles and wire work feet, 23cms, two gilt metal and glass souvenir jewellery caskets, one with a printed view, Court of Honour Franco British Exhibition 1908, 6x6cms, and a larger example depicting Blackpool each with padded interiors, a Victorian treen pin cushion carved in the form of a thistle with a padded top 9.5cms, and a bead work souvenir box dated 1905, 10cms. A collection of antique mainly carved coral jewellery, to include a bracelet with twin rows of spiral carved coral barrel links and twisted figure-of-eight links to a box clasp with carved coral bull's head suspending three coral charms, including a frog, length 22cm; together with a pair of stick pins each suspending a carved hand holding a chain with various carved coral charms including a snake, crocodile, boot, pistol, bellows, a seated dog (detached) and many others; also a necklace (broken) of coral beads spaced with faceted gilt beads (qty) The bracelet needs a small gold jump ring to re-attach the lower coral 'chain', and has some surface dirt, but the clasp is good and carved coral in good order. Both stick pins have damage to the pendant hands, otherwise the charms are in good condition. The necklace needs re-stringing; the beads are mostly cylindrical and vary in diameter 3.5-5mm Weight of round bead necklace - 32.6g

A Russian lacquer jewellery box early 21st Century The high quality painted box lid depicting a young child feeding two lambs in a stable scene with another child and a hen and chick, signed Pedockhng 2008 J Kapnaba, the lid to reveal a red lacquered interior with shield shape mark to base depth 9cm width 12cm height 3cm.
A Finnigans of Manchester crocodile skin covered jewellery box, early 20th Century The lift up lid to reveal two fold-out compartments and two further compartments, stamped in gold 'Finnigans, Manchester', width 25.5cm, depth 17cm, height 6cm. CONDITION REPORT: Lot 67: Rubbing and loss to the skin at the corners and edges, particularly noticeable at the cover and handle area. Break to the leather at the left hinge, in need of repair. Overall good even wear to the skin throughout, interior is overall good condition with only minor signs of wear indicative of age.
