As stated 2 red pawns and 1 red knight are associated. The white side with two white knights associated. White queen with chipped off finial and the 3 other royal missing with missing finials Other chips and minor scuffs, dirt and dust commensurate with use. Some pieces are loose on their bases and will need to be resecured. The second set: Some pieces with associated bases, including various red pawn bases. Also, with an associated pawn and one missing, although one spare base is present. Red and white knight both with an associated base. Various other chips, missing elements, scuffs and rubbed extremities. Red king with repaired old crack to base also with ink mark to base. The board; Scuffs and scratches commensurate with use and age, minor chip to the edge near the corner. The box: marquetry top, worn and faded, with silk lining, probably a jewellery box, back section of moulding missing
