A Victorian coromandel wood toilet box with plated fittings and Mother of Pearl inlay to lid, fitted internal compartments containing glass bottles with plated lids and other accessories, and jewellery drawer underneathA split to one top back corner. Adjacent side has a long split running almost the length of the side, right at the top. Opposite side has diagonal split at back corner. Small splits from all 4 corners surrounding jewellery draw, bottom left has been repaired. Other fine, minor splits to veneer throughout. Electable mirror in lid has oxidisation throughout. Its leather is also worn throughout. The ‘ejector button’ in the lid for the mirror suffers wear to the surrounding area. Several dings and dents to plated covers and chips to glass. Ejector for jewellery draw runs smoothly although draw does not fix back flush.
