A matched George V hallmarked silver and blue guilloche enamel nine piece dressing table set, to include a trinket box and a pair of candlesticks, Henry Matthews, a circular jewellery box and a nail buffer, Albert Carter and a pair of coat brushes, Henry Clifford Davis, all hallmarked for Birmingham, also a glass tray (10). CONDITION REPORT: All items with wear and surface dirt commensurate with age, some with losses to the enamel, particularly the trinket box with large bruise to one side, one candlestick is bent, the small pot is damaged and both candlesticks are slightly misshapen with damage to top rim, two brushes have small damage to edges.
W G SOTHERS LTD; a George V hallmarked silver jewellery box engraved with a garland to the hinged lid on three outswept legs with lobed feet, Birmingham 1924, diameter 8.5cm, approx 3.8ozt. CONDITION REPORT: Slightly concave lid with rubbing and dents to the edge, bottom edge slightly misshapen, areas of tarnish, split to the edge of the lid approx 4.5cm.
