This Ottoman jewellery box is wonderfully made. The basis is made of wood, and it is covered with diamond shaped mother-of-pearl marquetry. This 19th century box still has its key.The dimensions of the box are 12.5 by 20 by 14 cm. And it is in good condition although the lining of the box is dirty.

A GROUP OF CHINESE JEWELLERY ITEMS AND A CHINESE TWO-PANELLED FOLDING BOX LATE QING DYNASTY The jewellery comprising: three gilt metal and kingfisher feather decorated hairpins and six silver pendants, variously decorated with shuangxi characters, some adorned with jade and coloured hardstones, all in a glass display case, the two-panelled box carved with dignitaries and their attendants in a fenced garden, with a metal hasp, the jewellery case 36cm x 31cm, the folding box 28cm wide.
