The base panel is loose. Surface wear. Enamel in good condition. A couple of tiny splits to the corners of the cover but nothing to worry about too much. No personalised engraving.
A NAPOLEON III GILT METAL-MOUNTED KINGWOOD JEWELLERY BOX the rectangular top enclosing a silk lined tray interior over one long drawer, the sides with substantial mask and scroll handles, raised on scroll-cast feet. 27cm high, 56.5cm wide, 27cm deepHinges work well and the box lid closes snugly. Splitting and several areas where veneer has come away. Areas where the brass trim is coming away from the wood. The paper lining has split and come away in areas; especially over the lock mechanism. Silk lining in the top tray has come away and torn around the handles, some discolouration and marks to the silk. Otherwise in good condition with wear commensurate with age and use.

A Victorian brass inlaid boxwood and ivorine strung jewellery box. Width 27 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The casket is structurally sound and in generally good condition. It appears to have been repolished at some point and there are some small sections of filler around the extremities. The top hinges correctly and is not warped. The interior lining is in generally good condition as is the mirror. The lock is present and we have the key. There are no fractures to the veneers and only minor losses to the ivorine stringing.
An Art Deco silver jewellery/trinket box with royal blue guilloche lid with central crown shaped embossed detail. Raised on 3 stylised rectangular feet. Interior lined with cream coloured silk and velvet fabric. Body of base and lid both hallmarked for Birmingham 1934 and base stamped with William Neale makers mark. Approx. 3.5cm tall x 7cm diameter.
