GEORGE BETJEMANN & SONS, LONDON; a c.1860 burr walnut and brass bound jewellery casket, with inlaid floral cartouche to the top, the hinged lid enclosing a blue velvet lined interior, with lift-out tray, 15 x 28 x 20cm.Condition Report: - Overall solid but used condition, showing light signs of surface wear throughout. The lacquer to the top of the box has dulled and some of the brasswork is heavily tarnished. the right-hand strap to the top of the box is missing its back pin and pulling slightly away from the box. There is some staining to the velvet lined interior, but overall a rather pleasing piece.
