A blue-printed soup tureen, cover, stand and ladle, of oval form with ornate handles, decorated with a transitional chinoiserie pattern featuring an ornate summer house on a rock and a geometric border of scrolls and heart-shaped motifs, also a face printed on the knop, length over handles 38.8cm, length of stand 35.7cm, unmarked, circa 1810-20 (chip beneath rim of stand and small section broken at edge of ladle hole in lid).
