He became a supplier to the royal household and made several pieces for Isabel II, including a tiara and a diamond necklace, both of which are classified as works that are difficult to surpass.

A fine example of a cast-bronze ceremonial ladle with a shallow, hemispherical bowl and a lengthy handle that terminates in the head of a stylised animal with "horns" on the top of the cup. A QUANTITY OF MOTHER-OF-PEARL ITEMS INDIA, GUJARAT, 17TH CENTURY AND LATER comprising four silver-mounted spoons (one broken), six ladle bowls, a miniature footed bowl, two flared finials, and four small pieces Bowl: 3.5cm high; Ladle bowl: 8cm long max.; Finial: 4.5cm high Select Property from Penicuik House, Midlothian, Scotland.Penicuik Estate, situated to the south-west of Edinburgh at the foot of the Pentlands, has been owned by the Clerk family since the middle of the 17th century. In 1654 the merchant John Clerk (1611-1674), who had made his fortune in Paris, purchased the Estate with the existing house Newbiggin from the heirs of Margaret Scott, the Countess of Eglinton. In 1647 John Clerk married Mary Gray, fourth daughter of Sir William Gray of Pittendrum by whom he had five sons and five daughters. He married for a second time in 1670 to Elizabeth Johnston, and upon his death he was succeeded by his eldest son, John Clerk, who became the 1st Baronet in 1679.
A Herend oxide red and gilt decorated "Fortuna" pattern part dinner/tea service (pattern 1707/1220/1706 etc) comprising circular lidded tureen, twelve coffee cups and saucers, ten egg cups, egg shaped salt and pepper and open mustard, coffee pot, water jug, ladle, oval dish, double sided sauce boat, eight tea cups and seven saucers, six plates, five side plates and four breakfast bowls CONDITION REPORTS The salt and pepper shakers each have a chip to the underside. The lid for the hot water jug is broken, cracked and one of the larger saucers has a significant star crack to the base. The larger saucers, the bowls and tea plates are all very faded, on some there is practically no pattern left and there is some fading to the side plates and tea cups and coffee cups as well both inside and out. No signs of seconds, none of the marks appear to be scored through. There are a couple of different maker's marks to the bases. Set has clearly been used, there are knife marks etc, in need of a clean - see images for examples

4 hall marked silver champagne cups ( each cup approx 130 gms) , 1 EPNS Sheffield silver ladle 325cm long, 1 silver plate ladle 35.5cm long. Cond report: Champagne cups in good condition, only very very slightly mis-shapen on the rim- barely seen by the eye, they stand straight and have no dinks, dents or damage. Champagne cups hallmarked - Birmingham, Barker Brothers Silver Ltd, 2 x cup are dated 1931, the other 2 are dated 1932.
