Condition: The ladle displays wear commensurate with the age and use with general scratches, marks and tarnishing. Wear visible to the heal. Makers mark part rubbed, sterling clear and legible. Heraldic engraving a little rubbed.

No engraving to the terminal The hallmarks are clear and legible.

Victorian Scottish silver sauce ladle, plain Fiddle pattern with stag engraving to the handle. Hallmarked Daniel McGraw Edinburgh 1870. Length measures 6 inches (15cm), weight 1.05 ozt (32.9 grams). Condition: There are general surface marks and scratches and wear in keeping with the items age. The interior of the bowl has some more visible scratches. There are a couple of minor dents on the exterior and also a very small tear in the metal. There is some tarnishing. The engraving of the stag appears to be ok. The hallmark is in good condition.
