A creamware oval tureen, early 19th century, the cover with an acanthus-moulded finial, the body set with twin handles and raised on an oval foot, 40cm wide, 22cm deep18cm high, with a matching ladle (2)Condition report: The finial appears to have been restored. Crazing, pitting and manufacturing imperfections. Scratches and surface wear. Some small chips to the interior rim of the cover. General wear commensurate with age and use.
