A bisque head doll, Germany: Kammer & Reinhardt, circa 1912, composition character doll with articulated limbs, bisque head impressed '36, KR, 100' (somewhat loose), painted hair and blue eyes, and slightly open mouth, dressed in an over-sized cream cotton gown, doll dusty and gown discoloured, length 33cm (13ins), together with twenty-four other dolls, including costume dolls, some broken, various sizes, and some dolls' clothes, plus several other toys and games, including a boxed Priscilla Doll Sewing Set, a boxed Brownie Scout Paper Doll, and a small toy metal cooker in original box (latter broken), plus a late 18th/early 19th century framed sampler (worn) This is the first doll in the 100 series of character dolls made popular by Kammer and Reinhardt. * Steiff.A 1950s Steiff cat soft toy, black mohair, straw-filled with arched back and brush tail, silk neck tie (faded and a little worn) and glass eyes, retaining original button and label to the ear plus card manufacturers label sewn (as issued) to neck, 21cm high, together with another Steiff cat, light mohair, a little grubby but the 'tabby' stripes still showing through well, bell around neck and glass eyes, retaining button to the ear, right ear a little bare, only one whisker remaining, neck tie slightly discoloured, 6cm, plus three other Steiff cats all with buttons to the ears: the first black, in good condition apart from broken and worn neck tie with small stain to one end; the second black in good condition, 21cm; the third brown/black velvet (rubbed) with brush tail and lightly faded and worn neck tie, 13cm, plus three other cats: one black with a label in the inside of its back right leg "Hygenic Toys Made in England by Chad Valley Co Ltd" in blue stitching on white (i.e. 1930s), good condition apart from slightly worn ears, 18cm; the second black, with coat thinning on the front of its body and face and faded neck tie, 8cm; third cat clockwork with key (in working order), coat thinning a little to face, top of head and ears, and a small patch to front, neck tie a little worn, 16cm(8)Please note that further information has been added to this lot description.
