Two Japanese carved ivory okimonos, Meiji period (1868-1912), one of a woman and child, signed to base, 2½in. (6.3cm.) high; the other of a toy seller, carrying toys including a mask, dice, book and model ship on a gnarled wooden frame on his back, 1 7/8in. (4.6cm.) high, a/f. (2) * Condition: - Woman & child: Good with no damage. Front of figure slightly sun faded. - Toy seller: Stick missing from top of wooden frame and crack to right side of the frame & toys. No other faults.

There also lots of sticker marks on the metal bars from where stickers have been removed. There are also a few small scrathes on the metal too.

The colour is fairly uniform but one drawer is lighter in shade than the others. The brasswork appears to be contemporary. I cannot see woodworm.

Small chip to the rim. Sauce boat has some light scratches. One plate in particular with discolouration, browning, crazing etcetera. Most plates with some crazing and discolouration and knife marks. General wear and tear throughout.

All items general wear and tear throughout.
