A boxed Charbens Cable Lorry with some fatigue to the trailer casting together with a small quantity of Dinky Toys, some boxed including 555 Fire Engine, a UB Taxi in plain packaging and a carded 1001 Rolls Royce Dinky Action kit. Four unboxed Dinky Toys are also ncluded as part of this lot - a Bedford 'Kodak' Van, Trojan 'Dunlop' van with 259 and 955 Fire Engines, the latter in a reperoduction box. Conditions vary. (8)
4 boxed Dinky Toys: #238 Jaguar type D Racing Car, #182 Porsche 356A Coupe, #109 Austin Healey 100 Sports #112 Austin Healey Sprite, overall models appear G+ in boxed ranging from P to G+, with the G/G+ n#238 box being of the scarce type bearing a descriptive label attached to the underside face of the box referring to the success of the car at the 1957 24hour Le Mans race. (4).
7 unboxed Corgi Toys cars including an Austin Healey in cream, missing screen, a motorised version of the Ford Consul in blue, a Mercedes Benz 300SL and a BMC Mini Cooper in Monte Carlo Rally finish RN '177' together with two models from the vintage 'Classics' range - a black Ford Model T and a green 1927 Le Mans Bentley, all appear G/G+. A scarce unboxed promotional Vanwall racing car model in green is also included and it should be noted that the model appears to have been overpainted, (Red Vanwall models with suspension were utilised for this promotional issue), as the red paint underneath can be seen in some recesses. Base rivets are also painted green and apart from 'Made in Gt Britain' the model has no other wording cast into the base. To the upper body of the car RN '20' and 'Vanwall' and to the base 'Corgi Toys' and 'VP Vanwall Research Car of The Bearing Manufacturers Vandervell Products Ltd' are all decals that have been applied at some stage. This lot also includes an empty box for the Corgi Classics #9032 '1910 Renault' model with description leaflet, G. (10)
3 boxed Dinky Toys; a 512 Guy Flat Truck with some repainting in an original box, a 517 Coles Mobile Crane and a 511 Guy 4 ton Lorry in fawn with red chassis and hubs, the latter being housed in an incorrect box for the 512 model, apart from the repainted model, others overall appear G/G+ boxed (3).
A carded Dinky Toys 361 Missile Firing War Chariot, sealed on P card, together with 15 unboxed models by Dinky and Corgi with varying degrees of play wear including Corgi 'Popeye Paddle Wagon and Dick Dastardly Racer' and a Dinky Toys Captain Scarlet Spectrum Patrol Car with bronze finish. A small quantity of unboxed 'Lone Star Locos' and track is also included as part of this lot.
