A ROYAL RED CROSS MEDAL 2ND CLASS ATTRIBUTED TO SISTER GARDENER. A Royal Red Cross Medal 2nd class in silver attributed to Sister Gardner later Mrs Dredge A.R.R.C. A letter dated 9th September 1919 from the Military Hospital, Worcester reads 'She has acted as matron to this hospital for a period of two years, during which time I have been Officer in Charge, & has shown administrative ability of a high order. For a great part of the time this hospital has been equipped with 121 beds and her duties have been arduous and trying, but they have always been discharged conscientiously and with zeal and efficiency'. In Garrard and Co. case of issue. With copied research including a photograph of the recipient. *CR Case showing some sign of age. Generally good.
