A cased set of Royal Worcester jewelled ware coffee/tea cups and saucers (set of six - one cup missing) together with a set of six Aynsley cups and four saucers with cobalt blue and gilt decoration the cups with silver holders and a white metal bowl in the Middle Eastern manner decorated with birds and animals and inscribed to base "Presented to Mrs Peggy Marr, President of the Little Theatre of Tehran by Troy Shelby, Doris Shelby, Gene Temple, Ken Cairn Cunningham, George Creer, Ivy Creer, James Hardman, A Gehasarieh, members of the Executive Committee 1956" CONDITION REPORTS Aynsley cups: one cup has a large chip to the inside rim, another has a hairline fracture which is discoloured running all the way from the rim to near the base and another has hairline fractures running up from the base. The other three show signs of discolouration to the interiors. All have their silver holders. One is very loose, the others vary from being quite tight to ok. The five saucers all have general wear. All items have wear to the gilding etc. The Worcester coffee cans: one can missing. Otherwise all have general wear and tear to include some losses to the gilding, one cup in particular has losses to the tip of the handle. Otherwise surface scratches etc, in need of a clean, cases are broken variously, general wear and tear conducive with age and use - see images for more detail
