Two Great War trios, each comprising 1914-15 Star, British War Medal and Victory Medal: the first to Lieutenant Douglas Gilbert Prentice, Worcester Regiment and Royal Air Force (2. LIEUT. D.G. PRENTICE WORC. R. and LIEUT. D.G. PRENTICE. R.A.F.), mounted for wearing, good very fine; the second to Henry Thomas Barnaby, Royal Veterinary Corps (S.E. 1250 PTE. H. T. BARNABY. A.V.C. and SE-1250 PTE. H. T. BARNABY. A.V.C.), mounted for wearing on long ribbons, very fine; the second group accompanied by a small quantity of ephemera. D.G. Prentice enlisted as a Private in the Sportsman's Battalion Royal Fusiliers 10/10/1914, and was discharged to a commission in the 5th Battalion Worcester Regiment 27/04/1915. He applied to transfer to the R.F.C. 26/09/1915, citing his pre-war experience as a mechanic, and joined at Farnborough 09/11/1915 as an Assistant Equipment Officer. Disembodied 18/02/1919, he later enlisted in the supplementary reserve Royal Artillery 20/04/1926. Offered with copy research for this officer.

A Royal Worcester part tea service, mid 20th century, pattern number Z277, comprising; twelve teacups, twelve saucers, twelve side plates, a milk jug, a sugar bowl and two sandwich plates, each piece with transfer printed and hand highlighted floral sprays among gilt foliate detail and printed blue borders, the sandwich plates signed "Sedgley", the majority with printed maker's marks for 1954, with presentation certificate for long service at the Mining Engineering Company Limited (Qty) CONDITION REPORT:All pieces appear to be in good overall condition, showing fine surface wear, minor surface scratching, and minor rubbing to the gilt highlights, but no obvious chips, cracks or restoration.

A near pair of Royal Worcester blush ivory stem vases, early 20th century, shape number 1920, each decorated with gilt highlighted floral sprays, puce maker's marks for 1912 to base, 21.5cm high, with a further Royal Worcester blush ivory stem vase, shape number 1747, 16.5cm high, and two Royal Worcester blush ivory jugs, shape number 1094, 13cm high (at fault) and 12cm high (5) CONDITION REPORT:All pieces show minor surface wear, fine surface scratching and rubbing to the gilt highlights. The 13cm high ewer shows a small chip approximately 2cm wide to the rim. The other pieces show no obvious chips, cracks, crazing or restoration. All pieces would benefit from cleaning.
