Royal Worcester Early Issue Figurine 'The Parakeet' Model No.3087 By Freda Doughty Issued 1935 - 1983, this an early example in matte finish with green and gold colour way. Together with Royal Worcester 'The Parakeet', later model circa 1940 in glazed pink and lilac colour way with black backstamp. Each figure 7 inches. Royal Doulton 'Winston Churchill' Toby Jug in excellent condition, stands 5.5" high, seated figure of the Prime Minister in bow tie with cigar. Very collectable item. James T.Callowhill (1838-1917) Victorian Oil on Canvas, inscribed to verso 'Nr Capel Curig North Wales' signed and dated lower left 1888, approx 21 x 28.5 cms, framed.Note: Born in Worcester, England James Callowhill studied at the Worcester School of Art and moved to Brooklyn NY by the late 1880's. From 1853 until he moved to New York, he was an artist with the Royal Worcester Porcelain works. He later painted for American porcelain companies based in Greenport and Baltimore.
