Sebright, painted with fruit and flora within a raised gilded blue border, together with another similar plate signed Phillips (signature partially gilded over) (2) the second plate measures 25cm diameter Condition report: The Sebright plate has very heavy overall crazing and very minor touches of wear. There is no damage or restoration to either plate.

Comprising: six coffee cups, six saucers and six silver coffee spoons, all contained in a fitted blue case. Provenance: by repute, gifted as a wedding present to Viscount Cowdray and Lady Anne Bridgman upon their marriage on 19th July 1939. From the estate of the late Christopher Sheppard.

A rare Worcester blue and white teabowl and saucer c.1785, of generous size, decorated in the Trellis Lily pattern with a formal arrangement of stylized blooms within panels, open crescent marks, 12.3cm. (2) The Trellis Lily pattern bears a strong resemblance to the Royal Lily, but is complete in itself without the gilding. Very few examples are recorded.

Crudely re-glued and some old restorations including cover and base. Sugar bowl and cover with broken handle which has been re-stuck. Some overall minor scratches and wear.
