A Royal Worcester porcelain cabinet plate, 19th century, the centre decorated with a scene of Craignethan Castle, surrounded by five vignettes of further castle and landscape scenes, set against a cobalt blue ground with gilt highlights, shaped gilt rim, titled 'Craignethan Castle Lanarkshire' to base, 26cm diameter, with a further cabinet plate, possibly Derby, with a central scene of a shepherd and shepherdess, within a gilt foliate border, 23cm diameter (at fault) (2) Condition report: The Royal Worcester plate shows fine surface wear throughout, minor hairline cracks to the underside. The other shows minor surface scratching to the gilt foliate border and minimal crazing to the central scene, no other obvious signs of damage or restoration.
