(19.7 x 24.1cm.); together with another similar oval watercolour still life by the same hand, 8 3/8 x 10 3/8in. (21.3 x 26.3cm.), both in foliate gilt frames. (2) *Both in good condition, with no faults. Acidic mounts. Minor spotting to slip on oval watercolour.

(83.8cm x 132cm.) *The little-known English painter, H. Gummery, lived at one time in Worcester and painted fruit and flowers as well as landscapes. He exhibited at the Royal Society of British Artists. **Canvas relined and backed with hessian. Scattered areas of over paint. Canvas taught. Over paint particularly to right edge. Varnish has a slight bloom. Slight surface dirt. Some minor chips to frame.

Three Royal Worcester candle snuffers, date codes for 1924 and 1925, of Confidence and Diffidence, depicting the singer Jenny Lind as a nightingale, alternately dressed in a yellow, pink or blue gown and holding a sheet of music, printed marks, 11cm. Provenance: a private collection in Hampshire.Jenny Lind first visited the Worcester porcelain factory in 1849, and settled close to Worcester following her retirement. These snuffers are believed to have been designed as a tribute in recognition of the charitable concerts held by Lind to raise money for the local hospital.

Two Barr/Flight Barr & Barr Worcester 'Royal Lily' pattern teacups and saucers, saucer dish and milk jug, together with English teacups and saucers and cake plate painted with bird and flower reserves on a dark-blue ground (11) CONDITION REPORT: Royal Lily milk jug (incised B mark) with restored handle and restoration to footrim. FBB cups and saucer sin good condition. The saucer dish (with C mark) with a hairline crack through the centre. One of the bird painted teacups with a short hairline crack to the rim. The saucers with some staining and fine crazing. The plate in excellent condition.
