A Royal Worcester vase and cover by C.H.C Baldwyn, shape 1515 and date code for 1906, the ovoid body enamelled with swans taking flight against a duck egg blue ground and relief moulded, gilt highlighted rims, puce printed mark, 20.5cm high Charles Henry Baldwyn (1859-1943) worked for Royal Worcester from 1874 - 1909. Royal Worcester artists were encouraged to develop their own specialist subject and Baldwyn's was birds in flight and swans.
