Four Royal Worcester cabinet cups to include floral decorated blush ivory example, date code for 1898 for the cup and 1903 for the saucer, diameter 13.5cm, and a black glazed gilt heightened example (4). CONDITION REPORT: The blush ivory saucer has got a hairline spreading from the rim, length approx. 1.5cm, also two areas of chips to the rim and one area of chip to the edge of the base. The black glazed saucer and cup each with area of restoration to the rim. The powder blue decorated cup and fruit decorated example with grazing to the glaze throughout.
A Royal Worcester 'Lady Hamilton' pattern decorated twelve setting dinner set, mark in puce to the base 'Especially for Asprey's', date code for 1937, comprising twin handled soup cups with saucers, dinner plates, side plates, salad plates, two circular tureens with covers and three graduated oval platters. CONDITION REPORT: Two saucers with tiny nibbles (one to edge of the base, one to the rim) but these may be manufacturing imperfections as they seem to be partially underglazed but this is not obvious and one saucer with extensive crazing to the glaze throughout, one of the salad plates with a nibble to the edge of the rim, one side plate with glazing imperfection to the centre of mark, possibly a second quality, handle of one of the tureens has been restored, each piece rings true (apart from saucer with crazing throughout), each with areas of rubbing to gilt, surface wear (mainly scratches and some staining (particularly cups).
